Cholorphytum - Spider Plant 'Bonnie'

Cholorphytum - Spider Plant 'Bonnie'

The Spider Plant has distinctive variegated foliage which resembles large blades of grass. With the right care the Spider Plant will produce small flowers that eventually turn into Spider Plant babies or ‘pups’!
The Cholorphytum ‘Bonnie’ variety is a modern version of the traditional Spider Plant with a curly twist. They are more compact in size and tend to be a little bushier than your regular spider plant.

Light: They prefer bright light, but will grow in conditions from semi-shady. to partial direct sun.

Watering: They like to be water once every week but can withstand if you miss a week, but will do much better if you water every week.

Soil: Well-draining soil. Ideal potting mixture will be one part perlite/coarse potting sand, one part loam soil.

Temperature: They enjoy to be in 12-18°C heat, but this is not necessary for the plant to thrive; just don't leave them in freezing conditions.

Repotting: Every 2-3 years, preferably in spring. You can also propergate and plant your spider plant 'pups' when they are mature enough.

Plant Care Level: Beginner
