Crotons, also called Variegated Laurel, have bright yellow and orange colourings on their leaves. Its numerous variety of shrub or small trees, with glossy and leathery leaves are why they are popularly kept as houseplants.

Light: Place your Croton in bright and direct sunlight. Your Croton with loose it's vibrant and eye-catching colours if they're put in a dull or shaded spot.

Watering: Water your Croton every week, but you should let the top layer dry first. You check this by scratching the top 1cm of soil - if it's dry then it's time for a water.

Soil: Well-draining soil. Ideal potting mixture will be one part perlite/coarse potting sand, one part loam soil.

Temperature: Crotons love the temperature to be between 15-21°C.

Repotting: Repot every three years, try to increase the pot size by 2cm.
